Play therapy is a therapeutic approach primarily used with children to help them express emotions, process experiences, and develop coping strategies through play. Since children may struggle to articulate their thoughts and feelings verbally, play therapy provides a safe, structured environment where they can use toys, games, art, and other creative activities to communicate and learn new skills.
